New Mexico: According to Lexology, Albuquerque's minimum wage will increase by $1 from $7.50 to $8.50 effective January 1st. Employers must also pay tipped employees at least 45% of the minimum wage in cash. Beginning January 1, 2014, and each year following, that rate goes up by 60 percent of the minimum wage in cash.
